WA YouTube star’s close encounter with aggressive sharks in latest video

Brodie Moss was fishing in open waters off the coast of WA with a woman named Vicki and their dog named Stryda.

A hair-raising video has emerged of a West Australian YouTube star putting his hand into the ocean several times as his boat is surrounded by aggressive sharks.

Brodie Moss and his mates have quickly garnered over two million followers through their YouTube channel Youngbloods Spearfishing.

Their videos primarily show them swimming, snorkelling and fishing off WA’s coastline, while interacting with various marine such as sea turtles, whales, dolphins and shark rays.

In one of the group’s latest videos Moss is seen fishing off a boat in the middle of the ocean when his vessel is suddenly surrounded by at least half a dozen aggressive sharks.

Despite the sharks thrashing around next to the boat Moss puts his hand in the water several times as they circle nearby.

Stop … Brodie don’t put your hand…!

A woman can be heard in the video saying: “Stop … Brodie don’t put your hand…!”

Moss later tells his followers towards the end of the video he had never seen sharks so aggressive.

“I’ve never seen them that revved up and that crazy coming over the top of each-other right beside the boat,” he said.

It’s unclear exactly where the video was filmed.

The sharks thrashed the water by the boat.
