Surface The Royale 172 90mm 2023 Skis
Park runs all day
The Surface The Royale ski is lightweight yet durable. The combination of poplar core, low-profile camber and early rise in tip and tail sets the course for a ski that loves the park. 2.5 mm steel edges, hardwood in the binding area and a robust topsheet round off the construction and ensure an incredible amount of fun.
Riding style
This ski was designed for the park and for jibbing. From the pro kicker line in the morning to street runs after a day at the resort, it handles everything.
Shape
This ski comes with a Directional Twin shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Thus the ski offers you the same skiing characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose you get a little more uplift in soft snow.
Profile
The Royale comes with a low-profile camber under the binding and an even early-rise in the nose and tail. This profile is perfect for any terrain. Precision and pop for park and slope, good uplift in powder.
Flex
The soft flex ensures a playful and forgiving ride.
Construction
The Royale comes with a poplar core and hardwood zones in the binding area for longer durability. The 2.5 mm steel edges are designed for rails and boxes and, in conjunction with the hardened topsheet, make for an absolutely robust ski. The sintered base is fast and stays that way if you take good care of it.
Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
