I’m about to tell you a true story.

If you believe me, you’ll be well rewarded. If you don’t believe me, it’ll be worth your while to change your mind.

Let me explain…

Mark is a buddy of mine who has an eye for quality products. One day, he called me excited about this little-known brand of sunglasses called Shady Rays.

I told him I already had a bunch of sunglasses and didn’t need another pair.

(Honestly, I was a little skeptical. He seemed too darn excited about these sunglasses.)

Yet, he kept urging me to get them. He told me they had a lifetime craftsmanship warranty and replacements if lost or broken. Plus, they had a money-back guarantee anyway, which meant there was no risk for me.

So, I pulled the trigger and ordered.

I ended up getting the ones you see in the photo above, called “Infrared Ice”. Apparently, it’s one of their best sellers and it’s got tons of positive reviews.

They arrived a day earlier than expected and, man, when I put those sunglasses on…

I Was Blown Away…

Now, before we get started… I know there are a lot of online “reviews” where people just talk about the product and pitch it without ever using it to get an affiliate commission. That’s why I’m including a photo of my actual receipt from Shady Rays when I ordered the pair of sunglasses you see above.

I wanted to make sure I prove to you that I ACTUALLY bought the sunglasses and I ACTUALLY wear them. I figure proof trumps everything else. 🙂

Back to this Shady Rays review…

I can’t believe I spent the majority of my life without these sunglasses.

You see, I’ve had everything from cheap Walmart sunglasses to expensive Ray-Bans and Oakleys.

I can’t even count how much money I’ve flushed down the drain due to lost or damaged sunglasses… and this company here offers free replacement pairs. I could’ve saved so much money.

This means if my clumsy self drops them in a parking lot somewhere… or sits on them when I get in my truck… I’ll be good to go!

And I could tell right away that these sunglasses were high quality.

They’ve got a sturdy frame and durable metal hinges. They’re also shatter-resistant, which is nice.

They don’t take too much of a beating from my busy lifestyle. I’ve been wearing them on hikes around town, tossing them around, and not being careful with them to see how they handle the pressure. The good news is that I haven’t bent or broken them yet (which is amazing because I usually destroy sunglasses).

So, don’t be fooled by their fragile appearance – these glasses hold up surprisingly well.

Plus, they’re polarized. A lot of people don’t check to see if their sunglasses are polarized, but it’s a must-have if you’re serious about your vision.

Why?

Because polarized sunglasses filter out the sun’s glare.

Have you ever been driving down the road, struggling to see because the sun was right in your eyes? I hate that. Polarized sunglasses completely solve that problem.

Since your eyes are constantly challenged by glare, it’s easier to see in bright conditions.

Not only that but if you go boating or fishing, polarized lenses make it easier to see in the water. Because without polarized lenses, the water’s surface simply reflects everything around it, which obscures your view. When you slide a pair of polarized Shady Rays on, you’ll be able to see the contents of the water clearly.

I love polarized lenses. However, most companies charge at least an extra $50 to $150 for polarized lenses. I got my pair of Shady Rays for only $5.

Anyway, the sunglasses are awesome and so is the company because…

Every Order Provides 10 Meals To Fight Hunger In The United States…

All Shady Rays customers have one thing in common: they enable Feeding America to supply much-needed food to people who otherwise would’ve gone hungry.

That’s because Shady Rays helps provide ten meals to Feeding America every time a customer places an order.

Giving back has always been a focus for the company, especially in the United States, because they wanted their donations to stay right here at home.

Their mission to fight hunger in America has led to over 3.6 million meals provided to date.

Impressive!

They Offer Free Shipping And Returns

Shady Rays offers 4-6 business day shipping for free.

If you need to get your sunglasses faster, they offer a $7 option for 2-4 business day shipping.

I personally got the free standard shipping (I’m cheap) and my order arrived in three business days.

Plus, all of their shades (except the prescription ones) include completely free returns. That means free shipping both ways and a full cash refund once they get your shades back.

You have a full 30-days to try them out and send them back if they don’t work for you. All you have to do is send them an email at [email protected].

Speaking of prescription lenses…

They Have Prescription Sunglasses Too!

If you’re looking for prescription shades at a fraction of what your eye doctor would charge (typically hundreds of dollars), then look no further.

I don’t need prescription sunglasses, so I can’t speak to their quality (or lack thereof) so I’ve decided to include some reviews from their site instead. Here they are…

Plus, There’s A Lifetime Warranty

This is one of the best warranties I’ve ever seen for sunglasses.

If your shades ever have an issue that’s their fault (such as a manufacturing defect or a problem that shouldn’t occur with normal use), they’ll replace your pair at absolutely no cost to you… for life.

There are no limits as to how many times a pair can be replaced under their warranty because they want to make any craftsmanship issue right.

I’ve never had an issue with them (neither has my friend) but it’s nice to know they’re willing to take care of it if anything happens.

Confession: I’ve Been Buying A Lot…

I like Shady Rays so much that I’ve been buying several different pairs for myself, friends, and family. Let’s just say we are set for sunglasses for quite some time.
