2. Plot Dr. Dry: Improve germination and stem count with this superior fertilizer. Our carbon-complexed phosphorus ensures strong root systems in a wide range of soil pH (5.5 – 8.0). Simply add the dry mixture to your bag of seed before planting.

3. Plot Dr. Foliar: Completing our three-step process, Plot Dr. foliar is both efficient and easy to use. Formulated with multiple carbon sources and combined with plant nutrients, this foliar fertilizer dramatically improves plant uptake and nutrient efficiency. Just mix with water and apply on plots utilizing any ATV type sprayer configuration or a backpack sprayer. Plot Dr. Foliar can be sprayed anytime at planting or after emergence.

4.Plot Dr. Calcium*:Calcium nutrition for your plant is just as important as calcium for your soil. Plot Dr Calcium is a micro-encapsulated calcium designed for your plant nutrition, soil structure and perennial plot maintenance. It is the brick and mortar for the roots, stems, and leaves. Good calcium nutrition also helps plants retain water helping mitigate drought stress. Unleash additional potential with Plot Dr Calcium.

Mix Plot Dr Dry with seed and spread/drill

Apply Plot Dr liquid lime, foliar, and calcium right after planting with at least 15 gallons of water per acre

we also have the option of adding plot dr foliar, and calcium to a foliar application anytime after emergence

Plot Dr Dry is the best root dip out there as well! Mix 3 oz of the “Dry” to a gallon of water and dip your bareroot plants and or potted plants into solution and plant. It will increase success rates of new young bare root trees as well as help to reduce stress from planting. Also helps to speed up the process of root acclimation.

Plot Dr. Mixing Instructions

  • In a 5 gallon bucket, fill it about half way with water. Add in your rates of each product (1 product per bucket). Mix well. A drill with a paddle/paint mixer bit works the best.

  • Fill your sprayer tank with some water (just enough to get the pump recirculating/agitating)

  • Add your bucket of the mixed product into the sprayer tank and keep it mixing/recirculating in the tank.

  • For additional products, repeat the mixing steps in the bucket. And then fill your sprayer tank up the rest of the way with water.

Soil Sample Testing

Inquire about questions regarding a soil sample kit to start improving your plots now. To order soil sample kits, check out our shop page or simply click the order button below!

Soil sample testing kit. This includes one bag and the submittal form needed to send in. If multiple bags are needed, order multiple kits (ex. if 5 bags are needed, order 5 soil sample kits).

Fill out your information with your food plot names as the sample ID. Match the information on the bags to the info on the form.
most of the time the S1 package is what’s needed but if you would like more information then you can also choose S3 for micronutrients

The soil sample bags will then be sent directly to the lab. The address is on the soil sample bags.

Once the results are received, I will go over them with you and give you recommendations for rates of liquid products and crops.

Product Descriptions

Plot Dr. Liquid Lime: 1 Gallon = 1 ton! The high levels of reactive material combined with microscopic particle size in our 1 Gallon jug of Liquid Lime results in performance equivalent to 1 ton (2000 lbs.) of lime. One ton of AG lime contains approximately 14 pounds of calcium carbonate (the reactive material). Our 1 gallon Liquid Lime contains that same 14 pounds. With our Liquid Lime the particle size is much smaller, allowing for a faster reaction in the soil. AG lime takes around 6-9 months to change the pH of soils while our liquid lime can do it in a matter of days – if not hours. Often times soil sample tests come back recommending multiple tons of lime. Given the high cost and hassle of renting/owning a spreader, trying to get a truck to your plot, and spreading multiple bags or even tons of lime, our Liquid Lime product quickly becomes a great tool for improving your food plots! Comes in 1 gallon jugs

Mix into a 5-gallon bucket with water and stir. Once that slurry is well-mixed, add to sprayer tank and apply. Removing screens in sprayer is recommended. Rates depend on soil sample results. For upkeep, apply 1-2 gallons per acre per year.

Plot Dr. DRY: Plot Dr. DRY analysis is 6-46-5. Many soil samples come back high in phosphorus, but most of that is unavailable to the plants. Phosphorus is easily “locked up” in soils. Plot Dr. DRY has protected nutrients allowing them to be readily available to the plant without the lock-up that occurs with granular fertilizers. This improves root growth and development, and will give your plot a great start. This can be easily added to seed and spread. One bottle (2.2 lbs.) will treat up to one half acre.

Plot Dr Foliar: is a carbon-based nutrient package that will improve nutrient uptake, nutrient efficiency and plant growth. Great for building soils with the humic and fulvic acids to increase microbial activity. Plot Dr foliar has balanced and plant available nutrition to get plots off to a great start and keep them going all season. Plot Dr Foliar is versatile and simple to use. It can be sprayed on plants anytime and/or applied while planting. Mix well into 10-15 gallons of water. Analysis is- 1-7-12 . Rate: 1/2 gal will cover up to 1/2 acre. comes in 1/2 gallon jugs(2 quarts)and 1 gallon jugs

Plot Dr. Calcium: is a micro-encapsulated (reacted) calcium for plant nutrition. Calcium is the brick and mortar for the roots, stems, and leaves. Good calcium nutrition also helps plants retain water helping mitigate drought stress. Calcium nutrition is very important in plants as well as in the soil. Calcium is low or unavailable in many soils. It can be a key component to a successful plot. This product can also be used a perennial maintenance program after Spring green-up, after second cutting, and right before hunting season. Mix well into 10-15 gallons of water. Analysis: 20% calcium derived from calcium carbonate (not calcium chloride). Rate: 1 qt – 1/2 gal per acre per application. comes in 1/2 gallon jugs(2 quarts)
