Fast boat to Gili Trawangan
Gili Getaway Fast Boat goes to Gili Trawangan, leaving from Serangan harbour on the south coast of Bali and taking about 2 1/2 hours to get from Bali to Gili Trawangan. This is one of the fastest boats and it goes directly to Gili Trawangan.
Gili Getaway arrange cars to collect all passengers from most areas in South Bali to take them to the harbour (approx 30 minutes by car).
This fast boat to Gili Trawangan departs at 9am each morning, boarding time is 30 minutes before departure. The pickup time is between 7:30 and 8am depending on where you are staying.
For the return journey from Gili Trawangan to Bali boarding is at 11:30 and departure is at 12:00. The price of a ticket is approximately US$52 (700,000rps) one way and US$100 (1,350,000rps) return per person (subject to exchange rate fluctuations). This price includes hotel transfers from most hotels in South Bali.
Fast Boat to the Gili Islands
Blue Water Express – The first fast boat service leaves from Serangan Harbour which is close to Kuta. The crossing time for this boat to the Gili Islands is longer than with the Gili Cat but the total journey time is about the same. The boat departs from Serangan at 08:00am.
Blue Water also has a second service that departs at 11:15am from Padang Bai.
A one way ticket from Serangan currently costs 700,000rps. From Padang Bai it costs approximately 650,000rps.
Scoot Cruises – This operator departs from Sanur beach and unlike the other operators it stops at Nusa Lembongan to pick up and drop off passengers before heading to Lombok, Gili Air and then Gili Trawangan. Scoot offer a jump on jump off policy, so if you buy a ticket for a boat to the Gili Islands from Bali you can stop for a few days in Lembongan, then hop back on a few days later and continue your journey. During high season limited availability may make this a bit more difficult and will require booking in advance.
Because of all the stops the crossing time is slightly longer than most of the other operators. A one way ticket currently costs 650,000rps.
