This resin comes with a fast 24hr curing hardener , It has a limitation of 10mm single pour depth but you can do multiple pours to achieve a deeper casts. You can achieve deeper casts if you colour the resin . This system is perfect for tables, coatings and for small castings such as jewellry.

The curing time and pot life are directly affected by temperture- Quoted times were tested at 18 Deg C. Both Pot Life and curing time will DECREASE for warmer conditions and INCREASE for colder conditions . We advise the resin is not used in temperatures lower than 10 Deg C. The 2 parts are mixed by WEIGHT . 2 to 1. For example for 100g of Resin, you would add 50g of hardener. This is critical to a good mix, you will need scales ( kitchen or otherwise ) to do this accurately.

Storage and Shelf Life :
Shelf life is 2 months from date of purchase- Its important to store the resin out of sunlight ( in its box ) at temperatures above zero. If stored in sub zero conditions, the resin can crystallise . If this occurs it can often be reversed by placing the resin in very hot water, the crystals should dissolve.
Pigments & Powders :
Both resin systems will work with pigments and powders, We have course tested these with the pigments we sell, We would expect the resin to work with other similar products but we advise to do test samples first to check.
Volume Calculations :
I am sorry we are UNABLE to provide volume calculations – we suggest though you search ” volume calculator”, we particularly like the site ” sensor one” . Select the ml output. Note though, our resin is sold on WEIGHT not volume, resin is heavier than water, you would expect approx 900ml of resin for 1kg of weight.
As a very rough guide – 1kg of mixed resin will cover a surface 95cm x 95cm at a depth of 1mm.

Delivery is by ECONOMY COURIER to all parts of the UK including N.I. Scottish Highlands & Islands, IOW, IOM but sadly NOT Channel islands.
A £2 surcharge is applied for Scottish Highlands, N.I. IOM , Scottish Islands. This is the actual charge applied by the courier and is not marked up in any way.
We send on working days – Mon to Friday – This does not include weekends or Bank holidays – Same day dispatch cut off is 1200.
Returns:
