Blue Magic is a custom 31′ Morgan with the best tackle and bait available, comfortable seating with shelter from the sun and weather, and a “head” bathroom. Our Captain was born and raised in Marathon and fishing here his whole life, and our mate has been fishing in the Marathon area since he was very young. All you’ll need to bring is what you’ll eat and drink and we’ve got the rest !

Captain Alex was great! An obvious born and raised Keys local that put us on a variety of fish from snapper to African pompano. The mate, Nick, was an extremely hard-worker that never stopped moving around the boat preparing lines and bait. Alex and Nick worked together to get us more than enough fish for multiple nights of dinner. We were happy with the whole experience and will be booking them again!

Stay away worst fishing charter in Florida! Big waste of time and money. They didn’t bring enough gear nor did they put us on the fish we paid to catch.

10 hour trip turned into 9 we didn’t catch out target fish ” swordfish” when we did get a bite the deck hand didn’t make sure the line was on the roller right and snapped the line lost the only weight he had to fish with. They didn’t bring extra gear so swordfishing was over. I’m really disappointed in these guys. Your are better off renting a boat and bringing yourself fishing. They couldn’t even get us a limit on mahi. Very piss poor fishing guides

We highly recommend Blue Magic Charters for your Florida Keys sports fishing experience. Captain Alex and his first mate Nick were excellent in ensuring that we got the best bang for our buck.
We booked a four hour trip and ended up catching a combination of Snapper, Yellowtail, Black Grouper, and a large Atlantic Sailfish. The Blue Magic crew is very experienced in the area waters and had us on the fish within no time. They were both down to earth and very personable. They will also help you with getting a mount done of your prized catch if you are interested.
The overall experience was well worth the money. Other charters are cheaper and take out large numbers of people, but you will not get the attention to detail that we did with Blue Magic. A big “thanks” to Capt. Alex and Nick for the awesome trip and experience. If we get the chance we will definitely book another trip in the future.

Captain Steve and his crew did a great job getting us on the fish from the moment we got out there. Just a great time with this down to earth crew! This being our first time we had no idea what to expect, but they made it easy and fun, even cleaned and bagged our catch when we returned to the dock. We will definitely be back for more!

Had an awesome 3 days on the water with Alex and Steve. They know their stuff, took us to lots of different places and we caught tons of cool fish! We had a blast! We’re thinking about making it an annual trip and will not fish with anyone but these two.

It was a less then great day weather wise but Captain Alex and First Mate Steve were entirely up to the task of putting us on the big fish over wrecks. We caught many but came home with a large grouper, large mutton snapper and large amberjack. They are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in getting what you’d like out of our fishing adventure. Years and years of local experience and it shows!. You can’t go wrong with these great guys!

These guys are great. Well worth the money. We limited out on snapper then they worked hard to get us other fish. Landed a nice sailfish. Kept out rods baited. They were very professional but not condescending like the ones you see on the tv fishing shows. Will definitely book again asap. Thanks for a great first charter have been on party boats but this is definitely much better. Thanks Captain Alex and Steve! Ask the captain what your best options are for the day. They do this everyday for a living .

Five of us went on a charter recommended by a local bait shop. We went out and caught our bait first. The day was exceptional and the water was calm. These guys were humble and hard working. They could never guarantee that every fishing trip would come out as great as this one but they worked hard to make it happen. We caught almost 12 different species of fish that day to include a sail fish, a large nurse shark, a variety of snappers, two african pompino and others. The guys were friendly and very hard working. We had a fantastic fishing trip with them. I would definitely recommend giving them a try. Thanks so much to Captain Alex and First Mate Steve.

Some friends and I just took a fishing charter trip on the Blue Magic on Marathon Key. I can’t say enough good things about Captain Alex and Steve. These guys are humble, hardworking men who make catching trophy fish look easy. We took a 6 hour charter and landed 11 species. Including a Sail Fish “which was released”, African Pompino, Cobia, Jack Caraval, Amber Jack, Mutton Snapper, Yellow tail snapper, Nurse shark.
I would highly recommend this charter for their service and performance.
The Blue Magic is a clean, comfortable, vessel.
