Application Instructions Bonds to Polyethylene, PVC, Steel, Fiberglass, and Aluminum
Description BonDuit TM Conduit Adhesive is a two- part, rapid-cure resin system designed to bond polyethylene, PVC, fiberglass metals and composites. It forms a durable long-lasting, strong bond that is airtight and watertight.
Easy To Use Create a splice in less than 5-minutes. No special tools No special training needed
BonDuit TM BT-KIT The BT-KIT contains all material to make a joint. BonDuit TM BT- KITG includes the application tool for applying BonDuit TM.
Cut Conduit To prepare the splice, cut conduit to the desire length. Make a 90 o angle cut. Taper edges with a rasp or knife to a 45 o angle.
Sanding Conduit Use 80-grit abrasive cloth to sand outside of conduit ½ inch beyond the depth of the coupling.
Sand Coupling Use 80-grit abrasive cloth to sand inside of coupling. Surface should be rough with all polish removed.
Clean Coupling and Conduit Clean sanded surfaces of both conduit & coupling with TR TM Cleaner to remove any oils and displace moisture.
BonDuit TM Cartridge BonDuit TM Adhesive is packaged in a 1.7oz (50 ml) multi-use cartridge. Static mixer combines the two parts.
Dispensing Tool Insert cartridge into dispensing tool for an easy, clean way to mix and apply BonDuit TM Conduit Adhesive.
Prime The Cartridge Prime the cartridge by depressing the handle 1 to 2 times after the material is coming out of the nozzle. This will make sure you are getting an even mixture.
Applying BonDuit TM Place BonDuit TM in a 1/8- to 1/4-inch bead around the outer edge of the conduit.
