This is not the easiest to install but I appreciate their video so much because it made a 1st timer like myself able to do it within 45 mins. I’m sure it could have been done faster. The battery is authentic and doesn’t come with little sharpy markers wiping away the name of manufacture letting you know your getting refurbished trash/china knock off. Tools are amazing and you can’t find these tools alone for the thirty dollars total price point. The 6s is now back to life. Works like it did since day one. I even tested it with only my email and snapchat installed and didn’t turn on the screen or touch the phone leaving it connected to the service and wifi to test the battery life and it lasted 9 days. Of course through regular usage I get 2 days out of it before needing to charge if your wondering. I just wish Ifixit had more logic boards for macbook pro early 2011 2.2 ghz for purchase. Just saying if ifixit reads this review message me!

While removing the screen connectors, I used the flat end of the spudger as told in the ifixit instruction video. This technique broke some micro components located under one of the connectors, which disabled the touch screen. It was a total loss. By the way, Apple will do it for you for only $49. With shipping and tax, this kit runs $37. Just don’t do it! But if you do, be sure to use the tip of the tweezers to remove the connectors, not the spudger.

I’ve replaced several iPhone batteries over the years with great success using iFixit batteries. However, I decided to purchase a cheaper battery for an old iPhone that I use to play music. This iPhone battery was dying but still worked before I installed the no-name battery. After installation, it wouldn’t boot up fully and was in a reboot loop. I followed all of the troubleshooting steps without results. Then, I purchased this battery from iFixit and this fixed the old iPhone. If you want a trouble-free repair, go with iFixit.

Everything came packaged and labeled the delivery company beat the box up, but everything inside was still in good condition and in their respective places. the seal didn’t work well for me, that may have been my fault in the application I’m not sure. Besides that this product was 10/10, and I would buy it again. (Side note: The instruction on the iFixit website were perfect.)
