more like 4 AWG (four gauge), just look at the pictures! GARBAGE!

I noticed how lightweight it is, compared to my 2AWG H.F. cable. The supposedly smaller gauge from H.F. is like lifting lead bricks, and this supposedly thicker gauge Power Bright is like lifting aluminum feathers clad in copper – which makes me wonder if it might actually be CCA. I cut them up and compared them. Just look at the picture. The Power Bright 1/0 is on the left, the 2AWG is on the right. This “0 AWG” is supposed to be thicker than the 2 gauge stuff, but it’s not even close. Just look. The outside is twice as thick on this Power Bright stuff, because the jacket/insulation is insanely thick, but the copper inside is weak.I customized 4 batteries in series/parallel with this stuff, and now I’ll have to re-do everything. The thicker, 2 gauge stuff from H.F. is the same price, for twice the length! That means this Power Bright stuff is a complete rip off. The H.F. “300 amp inverter cable set” also has much stronger/thicker/beefier terminals too. Argh. Wish I hadn’t trusted most of these reviews when I ordered this Power Bright garbage.Another thing, these Power Bright’s thin ring-terminals are not only weak, but the heat-shrink tubing wasn’t even shrunk! I had to finish their work with my heat gun, as it was all loose and floppy when I got ’em.

I bought a pair of 3 foot long 0 AWG cables, and together they weigh 2.0 pounds which confirms that they are copper not aluminum (per engineeringtoolbox dot com). I also removed the ring connectors on one end, to replace with ferrules. The ring connectors were very well crimped onto the cables, and I cut one connector to confirm that it is copper with some kind of coating (probably tin). The cables are very flexible, and they are made from very fine stranded wire. The cable insulation is very thick. Everything about these cables appears to be extremely high quality.

You have to trim the shrink tubing from the connector ends. I have 3 sets running in parallel to help boost voltage and maximize current flow, running a 1000watt prosine xantrex with 2, 125Ah AGM batteries will run my fullsize refridgerator for 33+ hours with 2 volts left to spare. (Starting @ 14.0 VDC and stopping @ 11.9 VDC. Cutoff is 10.8, so I still could have run longer. (Icemaker working also) I prefer inverter over generator because of no noise, no oil, no smoke, no sparkplugs or carbon monoxide or gasoline to store or buy.. AGM batteries are better than lead acid, because they wont explode and don’t require refilling with water. They can be stored indoors. Keep you inverter cables shorter than 3 feet- 1 foot is ideal. It makes a huge difference in your systems stamina.

do not buy these cables got 0 gauge 3 pairs all the connectors are not crimped well and lots of cooper is cut making then not zero gauge
amazon is selling more and more chinese garbage, email if you want pictures, or give your cable a little tug pulls right out of heat shrink, and the shrink covers the makers cutting the wire off that they could not fit in the crimp, [email protected]

I ordered these cables to match the cables that came with 2 inverters I had purchased. They were exactly the same as the one’s that came with the inverters. The only problem was the inverters came with one set and I needed two sets for each.
I would recommend these cables to anyone. They are very flexible and easy to work with.
Need a set of cables for your inverters? These are the ones for you!
They were delivered promptly also, so I could get my project finished.

A lot lighter than the 12″ length I bought to connect to the fuse block-that was made for marine use. It’s hard to believe that these are 0AWG in comparison by weight, diameter and appearance. the end terminals are heavier on the other one also. Both were ordered from Amazon, but the other was supplied by a sponsored vendor.
The casing appears to be a plastic, rather than rubber. This set will suffice for my needs, however.

I saw the reviews on this product before I ordered it and decided to go ahead and try it out. My experience with what i received is very good quality product, my only complaint is that the ring connecters didn’t look like 24 carrot gold, unless it is white gold or something, looks like just standard ring connecters on an otherwise nice product. anyway I am a customer and thought I would share my thoughts.

Power Bright 0-AWG3 0 AWG Gauge 3-Foot Professional Series Inverter Cables 3000-4000 watt
Although they are larger than I need (4AWG would reportedly be adequate) , I use these to connect my Whistler 1600i inverter to my 875Ah battery bank, so as to keep my energy loss due to cabling to an absolute minimum.
