Let customers speak for us

Lithium Marine products are a big investment. A few things to consider when making that decision. 1) how is the company’s customer service and 2) how good is the product. Overall Abyss has proven to me that the have #1 down. At this point, I’m a year in with using their product and I am very satisfied with the performance and reliability. One thing to keep in mind, is not all lithium batteries are the same nor do they run on the same specs. Do your research and avoid the low price leaders. Trust me, it’s more than a performance issue, it’s a safety issue as well.

Used this product for the first time last Sunday. The Rhodan is mounted on a 30′ Intrepid Center Console. The day got a little rough as time went on, so much so that the 96″ Rhodan actually came out of the water a few times. However, even with the rougher than normal conditions, the battery still had 58% remaining at the end of the day. We probably got to the first spot around 9:00 and wrapped the day up around 3:30 with maybe an hour in between of travel from spot to spot.

I got the recommendation from my boat dealer to buy an Abyss lithium battery. I called them after looking on their website and talked to a guy named Ryan. He was so helpful and knowledgeable and gave me conference to buy the 36 Volt 60ah lithium battery. I also bought the charger for that battery. I have had a few more questions thru out the install of my Trolling motor and Ryan has came thru every time! Now I will just have to see what kind of performance I will get out of a 2300.00 investment I would defiantly recommend them

So far!

I love the battery and charger, just the fact that it weighs only 46 Lbs. and holds a charge for all day offshore in the Atlantic is priceless for sure. Very helpful staff and customer service also having the Bluetooth connection to monitor usage is another plus.

So far this battery is top notch. We won’t be able to really test until spring once our water thaws but install was a breeze and was able to install it next to the existing group 31 batteries and it fit like a glove. The app is also very well built.

Commonly Asked FAQ’s?

Amp hours (Ah) in a battery can be comparable to the size of your fuel tank in your boat. More Amp hours = More run time!

There are many factors to consider while choosing the right battery for your boat. Every boat is different by weight and size.

12V Dual-Purpose Batteries: We offer a range of high output dual-purpose lithium marine batteries that can be used for both starting and deep-cycle applications.

Our 12V dual purpose marine batteries are designed to power high load marine devices and have been used as a solution on center console boats that lack a generator and proper battery system to power SEAKEEPER, Marine Boat Chill Plate Refrigeration, and 360Ëš OMNI SONAR.

24V Trolling Motor Systems: If you have a skiff between 16ft’ & 22ft’ in length and are a casual fisherman, fishing after work or only a few hours out the day at a time (4-5hr) then our 24V50Ah or 24V60Ah is right for you.

If you are serious fisherman, tournament angler or guide, and fish for more than > 6 hours at a time, we recommend our 24V80Ah or 24V100Ah battery set up, Remember More amp hours = more run time.

36V Trolling Motor Systems: Our 36V60Ah lithium battery has been installed on over 150 different types of center-console boats. This single battery has been tested to last over > 8+ hours for boats up to 34’ft in calm conditions. (Run time will vary depending on the weight, size, & sea conditions).

If you have a larger boat and want to be a able to use your trolling motor all day in 2′-4’ft seas, we highly suggest running our 36V 72Ah or 36V 105Ah battery systems. We have designed three different tiers of batteries with different amp hours for this specific reason.

Our friendly staff is is more than happy to guide you in the right direction to assist you in getting the proper lithium battery set up to best suite your needs.

If you still are unsure of what battery set up to choose from please reach out and give us a CALL (855-719-1727) or send us email [email protected]

24V Trolling Motor Systems: If you have a skiff between 16ft’ & 22ft’ in length and are a casual fisherman, the 24V 50Ah and 24V 60Ah Trolling batteries are expected to last between 5-7 hours on a single charge depending on the tide and wind conditions.

For the 24V 75Ah and 24V 100Ah battery set up, Remember More amp hours = more run time. Based on various fishing conditions and boat size both of these batteries have been proven to provide up to and over 8 hours on a single charge.

36V Trolling Motor Systems: The 36V 60Ah deep cycle lithium battery has been installed on over > 400 center console boats. This single group 31 battery has been tested to last 8+ hours for boats up to 34 ‘ft in calm conditions.

If you have a larger boat and want to use your trolling motor all day in 2′-4’ft seas, we highly suggest running our 36V 72Ah or 36V 105Ah battery systems. Expect up to 12+ hours of hard run time with ether of these batteries.

(Run time will vary depending on the weight, size, & sea conditions).

While we highly recommend using our onboard marine chargers, they’re other compatible lithium chargers out there that will work with an ABYSS. They include; the Stealth I Charging , and Power Pole CHARGE®. Our batteries have been tested and work flawlessly with both charging systems with no issues. We only recommend using our charger because it is programmed and specifically designed to charge our batteries. Our marine lithium battery chargers come equipped with built in safety features along with a pulse wake-up mode function that automatically restarts your battery if it has been fully discharged and in protection mode. All these features built into our waterproof chargers are designed to make your experience using our products that much easier and extend your battery life cycle. The choice is yours.
